Hidden Desires

Chapter V

Dunrobin was, aesthetically, one of the most beautiful castles of the epoch. Constructed on a cliff, it was seeming solemn from very old times on the territories of the Clan MacKay. It was surrounded with green meadows, majestic hills, and covered by a peace and a quiet that, in that epoch of fierce fights and clashes, was difficult to imagine.

The Marquess of Sutherland, Anthony Mackay respected and wanted by all, was showing now the chief's post of the clan. He was a widower and father of two children males, William and Woman's faces, of which he was feeling very proud. And they all were admitting that it was not for less.

This morning they were assembled in Dunrobin's library like it others had been great, but something was in the environment that was making her clearly different. One saw them nervous, upset, for the equivocal stories that were coming from the murder of the Count Charles. Amazed and startled for the news, they were not giving credit to the last rumors, that though they were not blaming them directly, if they were darkening his good name. They were they all very worried so knew what it supposed spending again for the same thing. And they were not the times for another terrible war between clans.-William, calm down. What have you? - do not be, father, I am worried before the fact that the history repeats itself again - affected William said.

- I also, son, but there seems that it is someone commited to whom the Mackay and the MacRae could not live in peace. The only thing that is clear is that lord Chat and two of his more faithful men were victims of an ambush, and someone is taking many inconveniences in aiming that ours were the causers - Anthony answered lord to William.

Woman's faces, which though he was the minor of both brothers, there had inherited the serene character and the tone conciliator of his mother, he said trying to pacify the enervated spirits - nobody of ours would be capable of similar vileness, and you know it. We have just signed the Peace after so many years of fights and negotiations, who would be so mad at least to insinuate it?... In addition in an ambush! It is not very intelligent to be spreading similar tricks, do not you believe? - and after a small pause it affirmed - It is clear that they want to blame us, which means that we have an enemy, but you also know that they are many those who will never believe that it could be an our work.
- yes, I relate. Yes - William said remissly - I believe that you have reason. The better thing would be to be going to speak with the chief of the clan at this moment and to make him see that we were not, - and with more burning voice he insisted - and if they are not abided by reasons, at the time we did not still have any more that to fight to restore our honor. - I relate, believe that you have just said a sovereign bilge - Woman's faces it commented in shaded tone - you believe that they are going to leave us to approach the lands of the MacRae, this way ado? In addition now they do not have any chief …

- yes children - the Marquess interrupted - your brother takes reason, it is not suitable to go now; but as for coordinating a meeting with the Advice it does not look like to me such a crazy idea. - father, it is a suicidal plan! Not, they will give us option - it exclaimed William - you do not remember when …

- children, I am 58 years old and go fighting from very child. How I am not going to remember … Lord Chat and I we were friends in the past. When we were young we were sleepy: that both clans were enjoying harmony and well-being. Even we fight together for it - thoughtful and melancholy it continued - Then Mariela spent it of lady and one came everything below. So many years of wars already they have been sufficient for Dunrobin. And now that only for a few months finally after so many fights between our clans, we manage to sign the peace … it cannot be that this turns to happen to us.

I will not commit the same mistakes of then. It has been difficult a lot of power to me to sign this damned document … is more, it would not be important for me to give the life for him. But I will not consent that not even an alone drop of blood is spilt any more. I want to happen the years that I still have in peace and tranquility. - father we understand what you say; but … what are we going to do? - they said William and Woman's faces. A silence was done, thoughtful Sir Anthony outlined a few words.
It returns to repeat the history. And it cannot be accidentally. The life is giving us the opportunity to discover the culprit of so much sufferings and now already I am not an inexpert youngster with any more tonsils that common sense …! Excuse William to me! But your value and fearlessness is not the more adapted in this occasion - it expressed brought down - I know that you are any heart and put your better intention in everything all that you do, but probably in this occasion be better to calm and to think over ourselves on what was aiming At Woman's faces …
- yes father, but to what do you refer? What is what repeats itself exactly? - he asked Woman's faces puzzled for knowing if his suspicions had foundation. - before I have never told it to you. And probably already it is time to allow you to judge for you same if everything what happened was inevitable or was a fruit of a machination orchestrated to destabilize ourselves. You were very small and you will not remember anything, but approximately fourteen years ago, when the wife died of lord Chat, they started traversing rumors of which we had something that to see with that unjustifiable crime … In those days already were many those who coincided in suspecting that those who spread similar false rumour were the same that embarked us in that horror. And probably there has come finally the hour of unmasking them.
- but what was what happened exactly, father? - Lord Charles, brave man and of honor as few ones, in one of his multiple trips knew the most beautiful woman of the one that stayed completely prendado, up to the point that was capable of returning again to Italy her his wife to do, which was not got equally by all the members of the Advice, who had preferred any link that was guaranteeing agreements of nature more internal. It was not doing very much there had calmed down a few rural revolts that of not having been for the know-how of my good friend Charles had cost the life to me.

The truth is that they were not pleasant times and probably it was not the best moment to undertake similar adventure but almost I would dare to say to you that he was his own brother lord Richard the one that tried, taking advantage of the dissatisfaction of some, to displace him adducing that had upset the reason, which was not an owner of his acts to undertake similar wanderings. But as providing that Richard is for way, there is never known by certainty how it began everything.

Apparently, it convinced to great part of the Advice that his brother to satisfy a " carnal caprice ", was putting in danger the whole region on having left them so much time without a chief who was taking charge solving all the daily problems that, since already you will know, up to in propitious times they present daily. And of not having been for a man of great value, of that you upset if you will remember the name, to his return lord Chat one had thought that quite all that stopped to look for his Mariela, as him was calling her with so much fondness, it would be in hands of his brother.

- already father but it does not make clear … - it interrupted impetuous William to his father. - do not interrupt me, William. Be a patient … he was saying To you, he was A Lord Guillermo, who, going forward to the plans of lord Richard, managed to stop the discordant voices inside the Advice; the one who achieved that his friend was waited for the return of to take new determinations. While informed urgently about the urgent of the situation Chat it came a long before what he was waited, catching with his alone quite possible presence disagreement. But that one was, undoubtedly, something more than a simple notice, for all, of whom one was urdiendo a conspiracy, which unfortunately we ignore.
There came then a brief period of false calmness where undoubtedly Sir Charles, and up to me itself, we manage to be very happy foreign to what us one was approaching. And this way overnight, with the inexplicable and wild murder of Lady Mariela and the rocambolesca it tells the history that it was leaving us as guilty only ones it began an epoch of horror where the life of any member of both clans was lacking value. Where the life turned into a hunt of the man against the man. They were respected neither to the women nor to the children in any of two decrees.
Without knowing how we met in a neighbors' bloody fight against neighbors, of relatives against relatives, where it was not fitting the piety. Crops were burned, it was killing itself to the cattle with an irrational fury. Overnight one of my best friends turned into my more fierce enemy, and I cannot say that I was better than he.Only to remember everything what I made and ordered make shames me enormously. It wanted to erase it of the limit of the land. How not to hate that one that had been proud of it was call me a friend and that now was destroying every spike, every dream that it was born in Dunrobin. How much time and how much suffering found it hard to me to understand that both we had been victims of the same deception. With all the times that your mother tried to make myself see that it was not possible that Sir Charles was behind all those violations … - not! But how someone could do something like that … And Do lord Chat? Does it never try to verify the truth? Were not you so friends? - confused William affirmed before the last revelations of his father.
- you will not remember it because you were very small and in addition your mother and I we were trying to support you to the margin of everything - he breathed deeply - the truth children would prefer not remembering so bitter times, but already it was time of that you knew the truth …

- it is well, father, but do not continue if you do not wish it - said to him very affected William worried by the fragile health of his father of a time to this part - we have all the time … And trying to put some frivolous note to finish the conversation Eat good father commented mocking-, but if William decides to go to territory MacRae, warn me, since it would not be important for me to see the daughter of Sir Charles - it did a pause - uhmmmmmm … I have understood that she is a very beautiful young woman and that still husband has not found. And already you know that, hereabouts, we walk scanty of similar material.

Worried and sad Sir Anthony added without noticing to the last comment of his son - it is a truth that undoubtedly is very beautiful, but, actually I sit a pity for her. It is alone and in hands of the villain of his uncle Richard. Poor girl! - what you want to say, Father? - he asked perspicacious William, to which the last comments of his brother had woken certain curiosity up. - his uncle is a selfish man and without scruples. It is too ambitious not to wish Eilean Donan at any expense. I would not be surprised by anything that was behind the death of his brother; always I hate to Chat. And it is sure that also it has plans for Lady Stephanie.

Affected William asked his father - what a sorrow that this young woman meets put into such an uncertain future! Might not we do anything to save it from the claws of his uncle? - if, raptémosla, little brother! - he laughed ironically Woman's faces. Sir Anthony looked fondly at his children. How proud his mother could have been, if still it was living, had given of him two so notable and so noble children. But they still had how much still for learning.

Sir Arthur had not noticed that his two children already were participants of his suspicions, still before everything recounted by his admired father. And that, both Woman's faces and William, would do everything all that was in his hand for cleaning the reputation of his father and safeguarding a peace that had cost so many lives. Up to that of his mother.

During the following days, each one for his account continued doing more inquiries on what it was commented already openly throughout. Nobody knew to certain science wherefrom they were dividing such information, but they all were coinciding with that every time were becoming less credible and crazier. Everything towards indicating that none of the clan MacKay had anything to see with that one. Other clans were also to so much of the rumors, but, for the present time, they them were not giving credit, tired already of so many lies. This time the news was playing to his favor. They all were affirming the innocence of the MacKay: the nobility and seriousness of these was recognized by all the clans of the high lands.

Though it was true that all that was facilitating them to try to meet the MacRae and to demonstrate that none of theirs had anything that to see in the happened, was not sufficient. Now it was basic to avoid any spilling of blood to measure to conscience every step, and they all were conscious well of it. While the days they were happening in this false calmness, William was remembering the words of his father and was feeling increasingly pity for Stephanie. Though it did not know her, it seemed to him to be very unjust that on suffering the double loss of his most dear beings had to support the malevolent plans that, according to his father, Richard had lord for her. It was starting feeling certain attachment for her that was disorienting it, but that was establishing itself in his daily routine without effort.

He was so often imagining in different situations to approach it, that already he was surprising more not to have any thought for her. It was not logical, but it was pleasing the sensation of worrying for someone so fragile as this youngster. At least it knew to certain science how it was she, but already it was burning in desires to know her.. But the one that really was worried for that girl, and deservedly, was Sir Anthony. He if that it knew of what was capable sir Richard.
He remembered how the same day in which the peace was signed, lord Chat recovering, almost at once, that old friendship that both had, it made him promise that it would advise and take care of Stephanie in case something was happening to him.
As if it had had a premonition on his own death, and it knew that they were not going to have a lot of time to speak, he confessed to him that it was doing time that had started suspecting that there was someone interested in continuing the hatred of the clans, and with the tearful eyes he confessed to him that it had started understanding, though something is late for them, which there was the same someone who had initiated all that death and desolation. Though lord Chat no name declared now he was sure that both were coinciding in indicating the same being.
And now he was again impotent opposite to him: it was returning to gain them with this half silly smile that him was hanging of the lips. Now Sir Arthur did not know how it might fulfill his promise with regard to Sthephanie and did not know in how much time was going to be possible to support that Peace that so many blood and effort had cost them, to him and to that friend wanted with someone was fought so many years, for fault, undoubtedly, already of lord Richard MacRae.

Hidden Desires

Además ahora no tienen jefe alguno…
¿Qué vamos a hacer?– dijeron William y James.
-Nunca antes os lo he contado.
-No me interrumpas, William.
-¡No! Pero cómo pudo alguien hacer algo así… Y ¿lord  Charles? ¿Nunca intentó averiguar la verdad? ¿No erais tan amigos?

Hidden Desires

Chapter V

Faithful Eduard friend of Sir Richard from the infancy did not have any disadvantage to come to the call of this one. Though he was not practising from it was doing many years the medicine, was an expert of the sciences and good connoisseur of drugs and slightly habitual remedies. Lord Richard went down to the former office of his brother and there it met his son. They closed the door and made sure themselves that nobody should hear them.-Alfred, son - showing certain worry - it is necessary to act with rapidity. We have to make believe to all that Stephanie is very sick. For it it is going to become indispensable that it does not receive any type of visit: only Eduard, you and I will be able to see her. It is not important for me what you want to do with her. After the drugs that I claim that they make him take, I do not believe that it lasts very much. It will have a death slow not to raise suspicions. - father, I have to confess to you that I never thought that there would come the moment to kill her. I believed really that it would not need … I never supposed that it us was to giving so many problems. It seemed so …-Alfred he did not find the words. - I - he did not breathe deeply either - but she suspects that the Mackay do not have anything that to see with the murder of his father, and it is not necessary to be excessively clever to see the one who is of benefit more with the death of the Count...
Then we do not still have other one exit - affirmed resigned. - I hope that Eduard helps us, still it owes several favors to me. It will not have a painful death. Do not be going to think that I am a monster and pity does not give me that a youngster of my blood has to leave us such an early age - it affirmed sarcastically without stopping observing his son - do not worry, Alfred. It will not suffer.
- really I feel sorry for truth the loss of such a beautiful lady, but do not worry father that already I have well-considered how to compensate it - answered burlonamente. Sir Richard was proving to be nervous for the lateness of his friend Eduard. It was walking across of the office with a glass that was filling again and again. Finally, the door was opened to announce the entry of his acolyte. - I am sorry, I sit, Richard, me it has not been possible to come before. I was not in house. It was in Inverness, already you know, in company of beautiful miss … - accomplice did a wink to him. Parting with his cap he asked him - which is the urgency, friend?
-Eduard, we have a problem and I wait to be able to possess your help - it investigated him with convincing tone. - certainly supposition possesses me, do not doubt it. Lord at the time Richard hurried told him the plans that he was interested in it that Eduard knew. It knew that his friend was an ambitious being and with few scruples, easy to coax. Little by little it was leaving that E. there believed himself the maker of the plan that lord Richard already had begun to urdir, with what he was insuring himself besides the cooperation of his pal, that this one should not betray him.
It left that E. the plan was assuming of being poisoning progressively Stephanie. Alfred was not giving credit to the skills of his father and with great admiration I guard silence. Some day he would be a worthy successor of so Machiavellian mind. In order that the death of the niece was not looking like a murder Eduard proposed the use of several plants. When he was proposing to doing an intense explanation on the effects of the ill-disposed remedies, lord Richard interrupted him sharply with false indignation.
- But do you know what is what you are saying to me? It is a murder! - it shouted before the amazed son who was not daring not to move not even an alone word to get lost of the one that had given him the life. It had never admired so much his father. - I know, which is, it is not necessary that you say it to me. But I believed … - he said E. a little disoriented on having felt a rejection to his commissions.
- I it sit but cannot … We are speaking about a young woman who does not exist … Of my blood … why have it of wanting to kill her? Eduard before the hesitations of his friend recovered the composure and followed the tirade without turning pale. - I sit it but if you allow that it should live, it is possible that it verifies things that would take us to the death for perfidy-Richard, - in challenging tone he remembered - it seems To Me that you have forgotten the things that were said of you, and that undoubtedly, knowing yourself, they are true. You will not want that it refreshes the memory, not? In addition you must think about your son … - yes father, probably we must follow Sir Eduard's recommendations - it intervened A. with the implicit consent of his father.
- do not be … Seem so … - it will be the last time that you ask for a favor me, with this I do not owe anything to you. Rather you will be you, when you enjoy your new position, the fact that you will have to do something for me. - he said E. hurriedly as if it should not to have time him to arrepentirse - I will give You a few grasses that they must be boiled in milk and in them you will throw small quantities of a difficultly recognizable poison. If something was not going out well, I doubt much that nobody was repairing in it. I will make it you quite prepared in order that it does not turn out to you difficult to administer the precise dose. It is very effective; I obtained it of a quack of Aberdeen in one of my trips, and though I have not proved it still I you guarantee that you will not repent.
- do not be. Probably have reason - he said with a triumphant look that did not happen unnoticed to Alfred - It is nice. But they all must believe that it is sick. I will not ask you that you him des the poison. I or Alfred will give it to him, but you must remain to keep up appearances - it added lord R. more calmed. E. sighed deeply and said burlonamente - it is well, you do not leave me other one exit. In order that the friends are - he said feeling relieved. For a moment he thought that his advices were not received well, and it, in view of the calibre of the same ones, it had been very dangerous for him - It will Be late less than one month in dying.
It will be so gradually, that they all will believe that he died because it contracted some type of fevers. It yes, you will have to say that they are very contagious, in order that nobody could visit her. - calm already I had dealt with it. Only we three will be able to see her. Alfred was kept silently during the conversation, but it began to feel curiosity for the fatidical destination that was waiting for his premium. He was admired by the hard and cruel thing that could manage to be his father. - father, we her might take some convent and make her there locked up … Lord Richard did not stop to finish his son - Not, it cannot be. It is determined. I do not want to traverse any risk.
It is nice, it will be as you say - he said with a half crafty smile in the lips. The luck of his premium was thrown and his father had given his last magisterial blow making other one a person in charge of his plans.

Hidden Desires

No sufrirá.
    -No sé… Parece tan…
-No sé.
    E. suspiró profundamente y dijo burlonamente -Está bien, no me dejáis otra salida.
No quiero correr ningún riesgo.

Hidden Desires

Chapter III

Lord Richard and Alfred were crossing the beautiful lands that Eilean Donan was surrounding. They visited the small settlement, the farms that were placing in the surroundings of the Castle, and rose to the wavy hills from where they could spy the limits of his lands with the MacKay. - father, finally we obtain for what so much you were longing. Eilean Donnan soon it will be yours. - son, still we do not have in our hand anything. Still we have not proposed the marriage him to Stephanie. And it does not seem to me that it is very ready. If he was not agreeing, I do not believe that they force her to marry you. Then though it would be possible that the post was obtaining, if Steph was marrying other one … And it is more, I am afraid that the idiot of the major son of the Marquess of Sutherland, being afraid that they are blamed for the murder of your uncle, tries to  demonstrate, to avoid the war, which they were not they. And it is possible that it obtains it. Still there are many ropes and then the things would be complicated very much for us. I know to certain science that they do not want any spilling of blood, and for it they will be arranged to everything. William is a perspicacious and intelligent boy who will not be late a lot of time in realizing, and it would be fatal for us … Already you have noticed that we do not enjoy the sharm of the populace and … - what father imports it! - Alfred interrupted him hast - they will never suspect that you were you. Nobody has the value to face yourself. I do not believe that you should worry. - still you have much that to learn - cut harshly - do not be stupid, Alfred. Did not you realize how the people of the village was looking at us? My own people -  it added driven to despair - .Ése in that I was born and grew up, always it has rejected me. My brother was the favorite for all. And the people never forget … - the resentment was obvious in his words - there worries Malcom … us would have to be waste of him. Even many ends stay for tying … - it is the Advice who decides, not the people. You for being the only surviving brother of the former chief of the clan have rights. And Stephanie is only a little woman easy to handle. Leave me to this bitch me … - it added taking the back of the hand to him to his wounded cheek - And of this another matter, do not worry. I deal. - have care with your premium. Do what you want with it, but discreet. It is a wild animal that my brother consented and impolite. Always it did what gave to him the desire. And it is capable of the plans getting cross … - already I know that it will not be easy to tame it, but ultimately I will obtain it and it will be mine. - this obsession that you take as she can bring his problems. My intention is that if he agrees to marry with we you remove ourselves of in way in all that the marriage is consumed … And if he does not agree, it will be better than us let's undo of her before it gives us more problems - he said indicating the brand of the face to him. - father, you are not going to leave me a lot of time to enjoy her - Alfred answered between malicious laughs. Lord Richard said to him responsibly - son, you will never change. I you warn that this time will not be easy to extract you of the problems about which you think to get. We play ourselves very much and I am not ready to resign what is mine … not at least for you … You deal … Have care, or, this time, I will not be there. I you swear it. Both continued with his tour for the extensive hills of beeches and heather in a deep silence, each one absorbed in his own machinations. As soon as they came to the castle, they went to the lounge of weapon. Stephanie was doing labors, thing that there disconcerted on way to lord Richard who was imagining it disoriented and lost, which had been very beneficial for his plans. The relation between uncle and niece had never been even cordial, but for I respect his father Steph always I try to be prudent. But happened the previous night with Alfred, it gave to him the justification and the value to face them openly. - you has walk turned out to be pleasant? - she said in ironic tone.  - dear niece, you do not imagine how much … one had forgotten me what was to walk along our lands. - now that my father is not do not be going to believe that anything of this you belongs - he said startled. Similar affirmation was the last thing that was ready to allow. - I am not going to hide any more the rejection than me you cause, so I will be brief - it got up stopping to fall to the soil what it was doing with racket and it looked at it abreast, facing him. - I know that you are suffered by the life because you were not any more than the segundón, because my father was the first-born one and for right he was the inheritor. But you were never at a height of your brother and it makes me happy to be I who dares to say it to you. - and what more you know, snivelling. Do not be if it should slap you for so many impudence or to be ashamed of how you malcrió my brother, but probably he did not also have the fault of having stopped as the only descent to a daughter old maid and insolently. Of all forms I like that you show your letters so openly. You are so stupidly beautiful as your mother, and it, I have to confess, it provokes an immense pleasure … - do not dare to mention my mother - he answered Stephanie rushing on with the elevated hand. Lord Richard did not have any difficulty in avoiding the aggression. In one to persist and to open of eyes Steph could prevent it her, from holding lewdly at a height of the chest. - what faeces? I do not touch you … You are more despicable than your son … - know that you do not have loophole, so it would advise you not to put the most difficult things. - you are not so sure. Still it is not quite above mentioned.  Let me go ¡ - he said while it was trying to get away from the arms of his uncle. - Ja, ja, ja, - Richard laughed lord pressing his embrace - there is no dear doubt, which you smell like your mother. Though she if that was the whole female … - joked humiliating furthermore the disoriented Steph. - wanted only you have a few months … then the Advice it will give I dress well to my plans. And you know well that I have some devout, childhood friends, who will make them everything asks for how much … and you … alone you are the insolent ungrateful one - have elegant uncle. You do not know of what I am capable … do not know of what it is capable a woman when it him is not afraid of anything - said Stephanie extricating itself of the embrace of his uncle of a push. - I know that you want that I marry Alfred, am not so silly as you think. But it will never happen, before I wish the death!  . - care occupies first place with what you wish that it is possible to expire - Alfred said while one was bringing him over cunningly. Stephanie noticed as his body it was tightened instinctively on having recognized the dirty look of his cousin. It could not support the alone idea of feeling it nearby - this should have made great before - it raised his right hand and slapped him energetically. Alfred remained paralyzed, looking as his father it was approaching big strides the young woman. - Be which are your intentions … you me will not be able to cheat me … - he answered out of yes. - in addition I am sure that the Mackay did not kill my father and fodder his uncle verified the one who did it … In this moment lost completely the composure, rushing with fierceness on her. - it knew that you would give us problems, fox! - it exclaimed shaking her with brutality. Stephanie it was trying with bravery to get away from the claws of his uncle increasingly off balance. - it is the last time that you threaten me, small dog. - shouted him giving to him for drink a strong punch that made her unconscious. Alfred had remained petrified. It had never seen his father to lose this way the control. Unsteady still it dared to ask: - father, now what are we going to do? Why have you stuck it? - There asked Alfred who was not going out of his amazement. - he listens … - it answered Richard cut off trying to recover the calmness - … now, the first thing … I will take Her to his room and we will keep her enclosed there, until we know what to do with her … - what will we say? They will ask for her, father. - While I raise it, it traverses and looks for Martha. Say that it is ... lost heart, and on having fallen down it has been struck … in the head … Ah! And make call Eduard Steward, he will help us - Sir Richard ordered his son recovering little by little the breath and the composure. Alfred was running to looking for Martha to the kitchens his father had ordered him. Still very altered by the happened, it called to the order to M. and did that one of the servants of the castle was to looking for Eduard Steward. Martha went hurriedly to Steph's bedroom being afraid for her, and forgetting completely his position, it separated sharply Lord Richard demanding explanations. - What has happened? My poor girl! - It Exclaimed embracing - ¿ one gave a blow? … How? ...-ask surprised - my girl, my poor girl! - He was sorry. - We do not know … Martha … - stunned before the slightly respectful attitude of the maid - … we were discussing and suddenly … It fell, being struck strongly against the soil … - it added titubeante - do not be able to be! … - thinking loudly it commented - … these days of suffering for the death of my gentleman … Without eating … Without resting … do not be, do not be … but will it put on good, truth? - very distressed Martha asked. - do not worry, - added butcher - Alfred already has taken charge of everything. It has made call a good great knowledgeable friend of mine of these things. - … I will make him slightly warm and soft to eat … it Must take something - loss in his thoughts said between repetitive movements of head without giving many attention to his words - my poor girl … has not looked after herself at all during these days … - yes - he concluded incisively - Go and prepare something for him. Both went out of the room.-Martha, from now the room of my niece it will remain closed.
I do not want that anybody bothers her under any concept. We do not know what happens to him. It might be some contagious disease. And we would not like that they all were falling down afflicted by the same evil - he said in a tone that it sounded to threat - So to avoid any problem after you close the door it will have to deliver me the key. - but milord! He will need taken care and I want to be I who gives them to him. - Martha answered with decision, feeling that something was not good. - do not worry because of it. It will receive all the attentions that it needs, Martha - and with a tone furthermore incisive it continued with his speech - We will Be my son and I who we attend to her from the same instant. Does it remain clear? - but … - he answered without daring to continue. It knew that lord Richard was bringing slightly in hands, but she could not do anything.  Only it was a sirviente. - there is nothing to discuss. Close the door and deliver me the key, please. Also the teacher, did not want to take any surprise to me. It is for his own safety - he said to him authoritarian.-Milord, I go entrusting me of the keys all my life and the gentlemen have never had a complaint does he believe that I go to do something that was not permitted? - I believe that it is quite above mentioned. Deme the main key and that of Lady Stephanie's room. I do not consent him that he me answers. Martha I do not continue insisting, since it knew that lord Richard was not good enemy and there might be very prompt the new chief of the Clan and of Eilean Donan, so it yielded to his request lowering visibly the head in clear attitude of submission; but everything seemed to him to be very strange. It closed the door and delivered him the keys. From this moment Steph it was remaining defenseless at the mercy of his relatives. Poor creature!

Hidden Desires

Déjame a esa perra a mí… Me ocupo yo.

-Querida sobrina, no te imaginas cuánto…
No me toques…
-No estés tan seguro.
-Padre, ¿ahora qué vamos a hacer?

-No sabemos…
No sé, no sé…

¡Pobre criatura!
